Watching *FS Bengali win his US National title in 2003, I was introduced to his sire, the living legend Kubinec+++++ . I became determined to search for a horse of his quality, as well as his bloodlines.
Manolo is my latest addition, acquired in 2006 as a weanling from his breeder, Alcazar Arabian Stud, located in Germany. Alcazar's owner, Birgit Shiffl, used to own *FS Bengali in partnership with Frank Spönle.
Manolo and I's paths crossed when he was only one week old. Even then, he had this lil' somethin' -this extra "UMPH"- that makes him stand out above the rest. And even then, he already knew it! I was awestruck.... I somehow knew at that moment that he was going to be a superior horse. Never before had I seen a baby this young bounce like a gazelle, arching his neck, head held high and proud like he really was somebody. To this day, the more people gather around to admire him, the more he shows them what he's made of. He is a born performer and a definite future star.
Manolo is standing in Belgium at the moment, and will be imported into the United States in 2008. He is breathtakingly beautiful -a carbon copy of Kubinec+++++- and has all the ingredients necessary to become my next Western Pleasure Superstar! He will be starting his show career, as well as standing at stud to outside mares, in 2009. We are planning an abundant promotional campaign for him...
